Not having the place, I started with offering a “wrap-around care” program of professionals, integrated together to come alongside leaders as a network of support, all at once for a structured brief period of time. This program offered a “retreat” of sorts, equipped with a professional team, just without the location. This team approach morphed over time into a focused communication model prioritizing strong communication strategies for leaders in their most valued relationships – their families and their employees.
With a heart for more people to be reached and receive the same excellence in care, WIT took another turn to be available to small businesses as a benefit to owners and their employees versus just one individual at a time. This way, the company office provided the structure, the leaders and their closest relationships all received the same excellent support while removing the stressors for everyone of finances, travel, and the mystery surrounding who to call when unexpected relationship issues hit.
Thru the current membership model, WIT comes to the small business, providing a short-term concierge-style approach to caring for the “work family”. The annual model provides enough time to develop trust, offer ongoing professional education and consultation, and set a system up for ongoing success.
So, now when I ask, “where is the place for support for leaders?” I can answer, “right there – in their office!”
